The joys of technology! :)
And this is why you should never trust your life to electronics. A foot on the brake is better that a computer that decides to give up, just when you need it to work. :)
Thats what happens when Ford get their grubby mits on things.
Volvo blamed the incident on a combination of 'human error'Well thats strange.. i thought the idea of it was to remove human error :insane:
Hey Punto, You have not been on here for ages - or so it seems?
uni work, car troubles and alcohol and theirs nout better than a foot to stop the car
Thats funny, same thing happened to Merc when they showed off there radar system for cruise control, someone forgot to turn the system on an the result was 2 smashed up mercs in front of a load of giggling journo's ! All these safety features are taking the skill out of driving and leaving us with an increasing number of muppets on the road. In the old days people drove better cos if you drove badly and had an accident it either really hurt.. or killed you. Now you can have a huge smash and walk away.... we should reintroduce natural selection to driving :-)
