Mentioned on a previous thread that a mate of mine had traded his Cerbera in for one of these. On the Saturday he was out sprinted by one, and by the Monday he was in the showroom to buy one....some people eh ? Anyway, he brought it round to my place Sat and took me for a spin......whoosh!! Very thrashy but incredably punchy! A real sprinter and a lot of fun. Great noise too....but service every 4000 miles ?? Very sparse inside as well but still comfortable.... Not sure how a T5 would fair against one of these! I've stayed with/beaten a standard one but this did feel very quick....only the Skyline I went in felt quicker. Anyone else tried one or been in one ? I was quite impressed...

Not tried one but have annoyed one!! The driver obviously said to his son watch as we leave this old volvo for dust (cos the little lad in the back seat turned around and laughed) he hit the loud pedal and the poor evo coughed a big black smoke cloud at me (how rude!!!!) sadly the smile was wiped off both his and his son's face when he couldn't shake me off :slap: x

i was behind one from a set of lights (fq 330) and, granted, he pulled away from me at lights, but once i got to 70mph, i had made my ground back, and he was pushing hard. Basically when i got to 120mph, he was way behind me! My 3 grand car against his (25? grand car) i know who was happier!

I also have played with them in my Skoda [stop laughing] it is true. Very similar to moppy where he was showing off - people were looking at me ready to stick the finger up, but they never got chance. The traffic was moderate and everytime he managed to wind it up - someone pulled out so i managed to stay with him - lol...... But point to point in the 'real world' around the 'twisties' they are unbeatable !

A friend has an Evo he is peed off with the way it drinks optimax @ 16mpg , needs a lot of servicing and tyres. He also says if you are in the wrong gear you are easily beaten! He is seriously thinking about getting a T5 but doesnt like the new shape and prefers the classic style! I will keep working on him to do a swap for the day!
