Afternoon My 850 has an intermittant middle brake light and I can't seem to fix it. I was at a meet the other day and a couple of the other 850's had the same problem. This must be a known problem area so does anyone what it is and a cure. Thanks.
Hi, I had this problem and I think it's cured now, you've probably tried it, but i slid the whole unit out and found one of the contacts was, well it looked burnt, as if it had been arcing or something, a bit of emery soon sorted it and it's been ok since, about 2 months now. You will have tried this and I'm sorry for mentioning it, just I know how much it boiled my urine when the warning light comes on when you're braking. Grrrrrr. Anyway, i hope you get it sorted.
You give me too much credit, checked the bulb but didn't clean the contacts, always the simple stuff. Right I'll give it a go. Cheers
