Am looking to buy ann S60 D5 which will be due its 72000 mile service shortly. Can anyone tell me if this is a mojor service and how much cash am i looking to need to budget for? Kind regards, Mark.

It'll really depend on how well it's been looked after. I'd assume about £100 for a basic service (assuming all filters, oil etc) If however you're expecting lots of issues (like I said, looked after) then you may need servicable bits like drop links, rod ends, ball joints, strut tops etc then the price may shoot up quickly. Remeber to get a price on the service first! Most garages will tell you their standard service price. If you ask them to tell you about any possible issues & costs for parts & labour too, they most likley will & wait for you to OK the jobs.
