Hi Everyone, New to the site, and new to Volvo ownership! I'v previously owned an MGB, a few Vauxhalls and a few Alfa's. Including a Vectra Supertouring (number 81 of 500 made) which I still have now. My first volvo, which I picked up last weekend is a 2001 S60 2.4 turbo, its a great car!, it feels really solid and well built! - And pretty quick too! :-D Looking forward to starting posting :-) Pete.

welcome to the forum. I remember seeing 10-15 Vectra Supertourings sat lined up at Donnington Parks in field, caged up & ready to be used for the racing school. The white with Yellow Irmshuer badge always looked good

Funny you should say that :-p mine is very yellow lol - It came like that out of the factory!
I have no pics of the S60 yet.... I shall give it a clean and put some on over the weekend at some point. In the mean time, here's the Vectra :-p
When I first got it, alot of the normal rust spots like the wheel arches and roof were quite bad so had alot of it filled and resprayed and some of the effected graphics reconstructed.
hmmm nearly bought one of those a while ago. £600, was really scabby though with high miles. Are good ones worth a lot now? is it a 2.5?
Its only the 2.0 unfortunately, but its such a bullet proof engine! Its exactly the same engine as the SRI 140 so 140 bhp... by the time you put new injectors in, an induction kit on it, get a nice straight through system (and loose the cat) its up to about 155 bhp ish? I bought mine for £1050 just over a year ago with 101,000 miles on it. After some minor body work, alot of respraying, and adding a straight through system, bucket race seats, its now immaculate!!.... you wouldn't believe its now done 136,000 miles!! - You can see from the pics its pretty clean, when I come to sell it I'd be lucky to get £1500 for it!
