Impatient newbie!

Morning everybody, Matt here. Well, having spent three years driving diesel Vectras (company's choice, not mine!), I finally became bored and on Saturday I put down a deposit on a 1997 S70 T5 CD. I have lost count of how many cars I have test driven over the last few weeks, I even went through a (very short) phase of considering sticking with a diesel, but fortunately that passed. Now I just have to wait until Saturday to collect the car... Look forward to getting to know you guys... Cheers, Matt.

Hi and welcome to the Best T5 site around, You'll get some very good advice off everyone on the site, i'm relativley new and have found help for all the small niggly probs i've had. There really does seem to be a lot of T5 owners based around the midlands area i've noticed, thought i was being a little bit different when i bought mine, but it's nice to know that so many people appreciate these wolf's in sheeps clothing... :)

Ripper i dropped in on the "car club" meet at the bowling green didnt like the look of it though so didnt bother stopping . Did it get better i was there just before 8. Any new members for volvot5

Any new members for volvot5[/QUOTE] To be totally honest with you Viking it didn't get any better, as you probably saw there was only about six cars there and most of those were old classics, so i don't think i'll be rushing back there when it's next on. :nutkick: I did see a Dark blue V70 T5 turn up with mesh grille, was that you? Was gonna come over and say hi after got a beer but it had dissapered before i got back outside, if it was your's it looked very nice. Didn't go in my car, went in White Escort cossie, you may have seen it there!!

Well, I picked up the car on Saturday and my wife says that I have had a stupid grin ever since! Definitely made the right choice. Really enjoying it, bit scary watching the fuel needle go down but nevermind! :-) Matt.
