Has anyone on here had any experience at any of the DVLA Auctions? In person, on the phone or on line. Trying to sus out the best way to do it.

I've been to other kinds of auctions. In person is nice as you can soak up the atmosphere. The most important thing to remember is don't get caught up in the bidding - know your maximum price and stick to it. Also remember there may be commision to pay on top of the bid (possibly not in this case) and that you will be required to settle up at the end of the auction. Finally you'll need to get there early to register - take proof of your ID/Address - some places require this when registering. Driving licence if picture id should do. Andrew.
Cheers mate will bear it in mind but don't think i will be able to get to the auction itself but may be a telephone/internet bidder.
