thats a Renault 5 Gordini Turbo. I nearly had one for my first car, but i couldn't get a quote from the insurance company as he was laughing too much (think it might of been a bit steep)
my first car, 13 speakers & sold for 300% profit after 2 years
how i sold it
how i got it, the previois owner sold it as she thought it had got no chance of getting thru an MOT. A few bulbs & a new boot floor & went straight thru

the one i looked at was bright red & only needed a new front bumper, i'd actually agreed to swop him for my old mans beige Saab 900 (i'm sure he wouldn't of minded lol). As i say i couldn't get insurance so it was a no deal anyway, sure mine had wider arches than that

Well mines was an unusual one for a first car. I had a 1985 Renault 25 2.2 GTX. Crazy high insurance at 17, a serious thirst for petrol and well, being a renault it broke down a lot. It did have a snazzy talking computer though. :B_thumb:

Mine was a 1977 mk1 Cavalier 1.6L 4 door in Jade green metallic on an 'R' plate. Fond memories but over-shadowed by the screaming yellow SD1 V8 that replaced it. Thought I was the dogs b******s. 18 and a Rover V8 when all my mates were in Fiestas or mk2 Escorts. Insured under my mother obviously.........happy days.
