...the hot weather comes and my fan heater and therefore the air con stops!! Typical! Anyone any ideas of what I could try ? I assume its down to the dealer/garage....checked the fuses but couldn't see a problem.
when you say "STOPS" do you mean - not cold or not pushing air?
Not pushing air, you can hear the compressor coming on and all the lights are on but no air flows!!
could be the resistor unit on the heater control, theese are prone (well on Fords anyway) to burning out which leaves no heater control but everything else works.. just a thought.
Could be the main fan behind the glove box - does it blow air even with the A/C off?
Nope, no air flows. splatt - Where is the resistor ? Is it easy to find/change or dealer job ??
