My 1996 car had covered 72k by Jan 2004 (9700 miles / year), currently has 87k which is (nearly 11k / year) still under average ;) My current loan car has 149500 miles on a N assuming it is 1995 it has averaged 16611.11. However i average 18k / annum in the Volvo only, which means if i had owned this car from new it would have done 148500 which is nice and i just worked out my car is 99 months old :)

Got my 98 T5 last week with 118824 on the clock. Original reg date 27/02/1998. MOT's show mileage history as follows:- 2001 - 53287 2002 - 69339 2003 - 88745 2004 - 101440 2005 - 118681 so annual mileage of 16 - 19K seems pretty OK to me. Was originally a privately owned car, but funded by a company until 2001, so no expense was spared on maintenance. Got all the bills and receipts as well. Just got to get the front suspension sorted now - but my warranty should cover that. Cheers

At 94,000 on my new motor I'm now in the sub 100k for now. My old 850 T5 made it to 155,000 before I sold her (and she was still going strong). I wonder if the guy I sold her to is still alive? I'm not far off 168K! In the next few days... By the end of this month major mork to date: 2x clutch, wastegate slack fixed, broken fuel cap lock fixed.
143K on my 1998 C70 T5, had it since 51K so I should be reaching my 100K in four years no problems.

92, 000 miles :( Have gone from 50 miles a week to 250
167,893 - bought with 163k - thats 5k in 5 months of happy, if a tad expensive, motoring. Had 10k service, then VT for 280 upgrade, plus belt change. After fixing a/c and sunroof its the suspension (all round, plus bushes and probably top mounts) then a pair of new rear calipers and brkae upgrade. Finally the tinting on the rear windows. Should be at about 175k by the time I finish but its a great way to get the dog and family around in an old banger. Love it to bits! WOZ

Mrs Nbs 850 is up to 141,000 but I would like to mention that my Renault Laguna estate despite being battered by a lorry has turned over nearly 218,000 which I think ain't bad for a Renault !

My 1995 T5r has 236,000. Was still running, but when I stripped the engine to fit new piston/rods there was abit of mainend damage, probably would'nt have lasted much longer.

This list is massive now and many havent been up dated in a long time, How about if you havent up dated in a while you put your new milage down, the poll gets removed as a lot of cars have changed bands since original post and those that dont have the cars anymore could get deleted to make the list a bit more managable??? Splatt and Engineer ... what was the mileage when you bought them? ... and how long have you owned them? ... mine had 119,000 two years ago last month (when I bought it), my only means of transport, and has been to Germany in 2004 and Denmark in 2005 ... and me a poor pensioner ;)

88k on 2000 W plate. High for year but people love to add mileage to a Volvo! i was lucky to find a sub 100k car in my price bracket.

1999 V plate C70 T5 - 18,630miles (had only done 11,000 when bought at beginning of year - was dry stored all it's life as was owned by guy who lived out iof country and was his third car!) Paid a bit more than i wanted to at £7,800, but was lke having a brand new C70 for relatively small money so didn't mind....

Hi wobbly, What other bits 'go off' ? The car was dry stored - I picked it up from the place 'oop North' (body work was faultless and was serviced each year). Tyres have been replaced recently as has battery (battery Just before i had it). You think £7,800 was too much? I was comfortable due to the condition /mieage - I tend to keep cars for a long time so reliability etc is more important to me than resale value....... From memory I think I paid about £1k more than i had been expecting to (but was looking at other cars with six timnes the mielage at 60K miles). Dan.

My '00 registered C70 just passed 100k at the weekend (19/07/08). Still running nice and quick (thanks RT Mechanics) and now being used for a daily commute between Camberley and Chiswick. Thought I had an issue with the engine management a few months back when it lost power momentarily at 3,500 revs, but that fixed itself after a service (new cambelt perhaps).

97 v70 2.5T did 197K on orig engine till water pump went and it warped the head, s/h T5 engine with just 90K on it now in. last 90K done on LPG, car is lowered on eibach's and weitec shocks, no real mods beyond K&N.
My 97 850R estate is currently on 163,000 and still sweet as a nut(as i touch the wooden table)No real mods as yet finances holding that back.Currently just the powerflex lower arm bushes and pioneer cd player.hopefully more to come :)
