Long story short.... I am getting 3 reccuring error codes all of a sudden... Nothing has changed in the car for over 3 months. P0103 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit High Input P0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1) P0243 - problem with the signal from the Turbo control valve. Now the car sometimes loses all boost, other times idles really badly and cuts out (did this tonight when I was about to cross a junction....it was a brown trousers moment for sure). All symptoms seem to suggest the MAF is bad :( Certainly seems that way (replacement on its way (thanks Nads)). Anyone got anything esle to shed on this or maybe excperienced similar? Thanks :D

Had similar issue last summer, went to pull onto an island - stalled infront of a bus eek!!Very lumpy driving and more cutting out. Took the V70 back to the dealer (it was an approved used car). I had to fork out for a MAF, but Volvo also picked up the labour cost and additionally changed all of the Lambda sensors. This cleared the engine warning lights.
