my bro was racing "Notch so fast"
Mark was in Vanarchy, he loves his big burn-outs
& Phil who almost crashed in Pandora's Box (5.7 Chevy V8 in the back)

yes mate 2.5L 10v. was awesome weekend as usual. on my 17.2 video i would have been running against pandoras box,.. got a bit worried seeing them huge tyres and the spaceframe under the single piece fiberglass front end haha

thats a very good time then, i thought it was a T-5 which is why i never commented before lol
it was Pandora's first run out & as you could tell from the times got a bit of work/set-up needed yet

i've done about 60 1/4mile runs on the original 150k mile clutch & its still going strong, but i don't do burn-outs. The one event when i tried Yoko race slicks they did need warming up & the clutch got hot after 3 burn-outs & started slipping so went back to normal road tyres after that (clutch was fine after it cooled down again)

since i bought the car ive been a bit suspect something was a miss with the clutch.. most days it was fine then there would be odd day tha it jus never bite as normal or the engin would over rev..
guess ive killed it on the strip but like i said it ohh such a shame,.. ill have to swap the engine out for my turbo unit

I can't wait to do this in May (and June and August............) Cracking times, I'd be pleased to do that in my car without blowing it up.

should have faith in your motor!! im still coming down from the weekend haha was such a great time and only 2nd time ive ever visited/took part in any form of motorsport... first time i went to santa pod was same show 2 years back.. had my 1.0L polo and ran that from a 19.8 1/4m down to a 19.1 1/4m sooo much fun even trying to beat your own times!
hence the large number of runs i manage to get through
