Hi all. just changed the gearbox oil on my t5. had to cough up 37.00 quid for the oil. is there a aftermarket one i could have used. seems a bit heavy on the price form the main stealers :pants:

Must admit I had all this a few months ago when I dropped the gearbox to do the clutch. Stupidly I threw away the oil as I assumed it would be a normal oil like 80/90 or at least semi synth but all the listings in every book we've got at work and on 'God' (auto data on P.C !) all said the wonderful words 'refer to main dealer' and I like you paid through my nose cavities for the oil !
its a 5-30 synthetic
I found a listing for 5/30 as well. But it was impossible to get ! (It ain't the same as 5/30 engine oil)
