Hi folks I'm just seeing if there is any interest in my V70R. The mot expires the 23rd of this month and is taxed til the end of feb. There is a problem with the head , sounds like a valve but starts and drives. I haven't used the car since the problem occured. This is Frasers old car complete with 18" Pegs, rica chip, reverse mount intercooler, blitz dump valve, twin straight through exhaust, itg panel filter and Saltire Head lining. Have you thought about getting the head done before you sell it if you can do it your self you should get more money for the car by the way thats a good looking motor

Agree with Pete. The cost of getting the head done will be less than the hit you will take on the value of your car with a dodgy head. Your's is a particularly nice example and I am sure will sell for a good price once the work is done and it has 12 month's MOT, even in this depressed market. are you sure its a valve problem, unusual failiure for a volvo. has anyone checked the obvious things,leads,plugs,compressions etc. may not be as bad as you think
