when i buggered the engine in my cally i had to buy a cheap car to get around in so i bought an astra estate. but as im obsessed with fidling with cars i couldnt leave it alone and as there was no point doing the engine i did the body. managed to sell it for £500 more than i bought it for tho.
will eventuly get round to restoring my mk1 astra GTE with redtop. not in a rush as its not going anywhere. have a c20let ready to go in. its all sat at my mums and has been there for 7 years now.
got stuck in a flood in my cally and sucked up water totaly fooking the engine.
never putting a cold air feed that low again
and now to the best car i have ever had. my baby LOL. my beloved 850 T-5 R.
bought this as i needed a 7 seater but wanted sumit fast.
had no idea about volvos when i got it.
looked online and wanted a T-5 as no no they was fast then spotted a T-5 R and thought mmmmmm that looks nicer. not having any idea how rare or saut after it was i bought my gull T-5 R. and now its the love of my life and i have learned so much about it from this site wile probly being totaly anoying LOL
No pics at the moment to hand but i have The Peril,Wife has a C70 convertible/and i drive an Evo 6 :) Russ
There appears to be a pattern emerging with Stainseys cars :scared: We have a V8 Disco, a Iveco Daily, an Alfa 156 V6 and a quad bike x
you mean the bodykits? yep well i used to work in a bodykits and body mod garage so the chances where i was going to fit kits to my cars. but dont worry i like my T-5 R as it is and im not in the game of fitting kits anymore. the most i am doing bodywise on it is fitting black angeleyes

(wifeys)The Party Bus Pug 806 TD (600 miles on a tank) Now has 7 spoke 17" BK racing alloys on her.
The summer car, XR3i Cabrio.

Mmmm nice cab.
Yeah but from what i can remember they handled beautifully and wow could you swing the back out on demand :)
they handle better than anything, 50/50 weigh distribution, rear gearbox, LSD and lightweight. i built a 3ltr v6 road and track car, that was fun, 220bhp, 1100kgs, slicks and straight thru side-pipes. i bought the 2L TS for better reliability but lost the torque and noise :frown:

Here's my contribution :-)

Here's my contribution :-)

Can't compete with the collection above, unless anybody nows the going rate for a left bollock?
But, this is my current fleet...
The recently aquired T5 which is proving rather humourous in the wet... needs a little TLC but bought mainly as a daily runner (sod the credit crunch) and workhorse whilst this is off the road for some TLC and more power...
Had it 7 years now, rather embarassingly it's been known to take priority over female aquaintances both past and present.
ooooo a c20 let,, now thats one cracking looking motor , my mate has a white one ,,,, but it must be a vauxhall thing why do you have to fit laguna splitters ???? anyway compliments on the cav a very tasty and advanced motor for it,s time in our fleet we have a c70 vw beetle and 5 gt turbo
but it must be a vauxhall thing why do you have to fit laguna splitters ????
Aye, it's on the options list... you can have a Laguna splitter or a wee blonde skank. But cheers! Tell the mate to log his on www.ctor.co.uk
