Right chaps, really want a mint 850R,T5R or as an example Pauls lovely silver T5 thats up for sale on these very forums.
if anyone has a Car of similar value they might like to swap then please let me know.
Or if anyone wants to buy thats great too!!
1995 M Plate Classic Pearl Green (storm colour) Corrado vr6, clocks are on 165k, it did something like 120000 miles in the hands of LEX fleet in the first few years of its life, the last 7 or 8 years its done 45000 miles and been lavished, ive got reams of paperwork to substantiate this.
112000 mile 2.9 ABV with new timing chains and all tensioners replaced with later Mk4 pad and tensioner bolt, car had a AAA 2.8 in when i bought it but obviously now it has the correct 2.9 fitted.
New Victor Reinz OEM headgasket and headbolts within the last few hundred miles along with a head stripdown and rebuild with new valve guides, 2 new vales and all valves lapped in by hand.
All valves decoked, piston crowns decoked and cleaned.
New Ancilary belt, new thermostat housing, crackpipe, oil pump, sump, power steering pump all recently.
New Black Forest Industries stage 1 engine mounts all round.
New bottom ball joints.
FK konigsport's all round
Miltek cat back system with Miltek cat bypass.
I have the original Corrado VR cat with a new genune lambda fitted so its easy to swap one out for the other without having to swap the lambda's over...
Powerflex Poly wishbone bushes.
Rear beam bushes were done approx 18 months or so ago, when i say this is a tight car you'd better believe it.
the car has the later 288mm late Golf Mk3 brake set up withthe corresponding larger front calipers and Pagid Fast road pads, stopping power is bang on.
Numerous other bits and bobs have been fitted , too many to list in reality!.
And the best bit, when i got the car it was everythnig i wanted in a Corrado except it didnt have Air Con!, in my middling years i have come to expect this on my cars and i was a bit gutted to find myself sweating the proverbial knackers off without it so i sourced a Golf Vr6 just for the purpose of removing its Air Con system and retrofitting it into the Corrado.
its the proper Diavia/VW kit and it works flawlessly, to find a Corrado with Air Con is proper rare, not Ebay rare but proper!, to find a Corrado with air con that works is nigh on impossible, most have been ripped out but this system is good to go!!
The interior is a Mint pair of Audi TT black leather seats and the rear which i sourced is the Corrado hump centre'd bench in black leather.
Up front is a lovely Italvolante steering wheel and the cabin also features Audioscape door pods with Fosgate Comps and an Alpine Direct to Ipod head unit.
Security is an Autowatch Cat1 total closure alarm/immobiliser.
She is currently sat on a set of Ultralite 17x8 rims with new Falken FK452's, these have done approx 1000 mies from new and as such are nigh on mint.
So to sum up this is a lovely Corrado with all the right bits on it and in the right colour with air con!!, im not going to say its a 100% mint car because im not like that and im a fussy bugger but its damn good.
Everything works including the ABS, Spoiler, sunroof and all other electrics which are often broken on these cars, i spent alot of time sorting the typical problems!.
Ill get some more pics up in the next couple of days and if anyone wants anymore info drop me a message.
Price is £3750, you might see cars up for less but check whats been done in terms of maintenance, history, colour spec etc.
Cheers Pete.
