just thought id post a lil topic up to see who has been or is thinking of going and a warning to those thinking of going if you want to see audi, bmw, volvo, VW, rolls, mitsubishi or a full range of mercs dont bother as merc only have a small stand and the others arnt there other then that most of the major manufacturers are there and the honda dreamscape is worth a visit (its only £5) Another warning, the auto trader stand has blonde identical twins asking you questions (cant remember what exactly) best avoid the whole stand if your with your other half as i was, as going anywhere near them results in a slap and a dig in the ribs shortly after some personal opinions of some of the cars i looked at saab 9-5 nice looking nice interiour dash looks like its been built for a 5 yearold with massive buttons for everything but god is it a cheap car XF jag i want one imediatly if not sooner honda accord looks good inside and out and the one i was looking at had EVERYTHING on it and still cost less then £30k which is impressive the big lexus (cant remember the model) BIG comfy (the rear seats recline) range rover vouge massive but what a waste of space it doesnt even have 7 seats thats enough i think appart from one other thing after 5pm the entry price drops to £5 and the show closes at 9pm so i recomend going after 5 as its a bit quieter and theres still plenty of time to get round the whole show http://www.britishmotorshow.co.uk/

I'm going on Friday. Haven't been in a couple of years. That's quite a big dissapointment that the manufacturers you listed aren't there.

Bring it back to Birmingham! We aren't going mainly due to the cost of having to Travel all the way down London :frown: A bit pants about some manufactures not being there. What's the point of that

despite the fact the london show is fairly local to me took me 40mins i think it should be in birmingham as well i think the nec is a bigger venue will be cheaper and should bring back the rest of the other car manufacturers apparently a stand at the excel was costing £1M god knows how much ford vaux and honda paid as they had massive stands
