Spotted these two having a tea break on the M6 south bound(Cheshire) last monday(forgot I had snapped them).
Even though they were not in use they still slowed the traffic, they looked new so maybe there on the streets now, nicking toerags..

Says it all about the general level of intelligence of the great British public... that they slow down for marked cars that are on a recovery vehicle...
Same mentality that causes people to slow down and gawp at minor bumps/broken down cars/anything really on the opposite carriageway...

Even more worrying for me is letting some rickedy old recovery truck tow 2 £30k cars!!!!

lol.. i can see im gonna have to put my coffee down more and stop eatin my lunch while drivin my truck and take more photos to keep up...lol

It's a commendable effort, though the tripod must get in the way sometimes.

I saw two ex hants pol cars off to the Zoo on a truck last night north bound on the M3 at Bagshot, maybe the two above were the replacments!

Too right that's the only lane my beast likes, when there's no idiots in it.:mischievo
As for the pic, it's easy when you used to work a pro photographer, just match speed with target and use the steering wheel to brace your arm, then press the button......
