OK... I like :) Geartronic, Sir? Hopefully going to Shakespear again on 30th Sept ( I think they have a RWYB day) and Nurburgring on 7th Oct if I don't break it before! Its rather quick.....not played with anything properly ( chewed up and spat out an Impreza STI and a 911 Carrera didn't want to have some fun), but smiles all the way...

LOL if thats a R33 GTR VSPEC-II then most of us are stuffed i test drove a R33 gts (single turbo 2.5) with 450bhp and fook me it was quick, correction it probably could have out run the millenium falcon and the starship enterprise. It is one of my all time cars i looked into buying a jap import R33 GTR VSPEC-II running 790bhp but the £22k price tag i could not afford at the time could only stretch to £16k on finance,a real shame it was a lovely motor painted in top secret gold, funny really as they were the ones that had done all the tuning wortk on it

hope you have fun I certainly do with my mams, Image Image Best thing we ever did was get an apexi fitted and mapped by rod bell, now it's 400ishbhp and loads of fun. Only problem is every lunatic on the road, wants a race.
that an r33? my fave! gts or R?
Oh, GTR of course! Its "only" a stage 1 tune ( exhaust, induction, chip and boost controller ) running about 400BHP, which should equate to around 0-60 in 4.5 ish and 1/4 mile around 12.8 I reackon ? Hopefully do a run soon to see... I does fly!! Small prob already with electrics but hopefully its minor!!

Without being rude, how much did you pay (ish)? I remember an EVO feature of the best £20k car - A R33 GTR came comfortably within that :)

I paid £11,700, and its in pretty good nick!! Expect to pay between £11 and £15k for a reasonable one... Been playing today, but no-one seems to want to have a go. P1 Impreza didn't even want to play, and I chatted to the bloke in the petrol station! Found the electric's problem, its a loose wire!!
You appear to be doing very well for yourself - nice one mate :Handshake
Says the man who changes his car every blumin week!! I'm a lucky boy, but I have always dreamed of an R33 and selling the volvo made that possible. I've been entitled to a company car for ages and I was tempted by a few but the Audi was quite good tax wise so I had to go for it...so I'm not that well off!!
Man i`m well jealous now I drooled over that P2 V70 you had and now you get a bloody gtr Someone pass me some tissues Cheers stuart
...and my P2 had a strut brace lol!!! ( that's an "in" joke..I thought it had one until Stuart pointed out it was something out ). But you've still got the strobes...now that's cool! We'll have to meet up...

Post 142897 by Phuturephantasy on 2006-09-15 22:24:24

Friend of mine recently bought an R33 - Great cars but the only thing is like you say - everybody knows they're quick and expects you to floor it everywhere, with the Volvo it's a bit of a sleeper and you can drive it any way you like and nobody takes any notice. My mate has already been hassled by the Police and he's only had it a month or so.

Skylines are soooooooo fin awsome. A mate of mine has an R34 GTR VspecII. I dunno what power it puts out but he imported it as standard and has ploughed about 30K into it. Man does it go like u know what of a shinney shovel and goes round Knockhill faster than anything they have had there on an openday before. I would love one!!!! best toy in it is the g-meter........hehehehe
