Hi all, This site is a great source of info so its time i joined. been a volvo fan for about 10 years from 740 to ex police V70 T5 and now 98 v70R AWD in saffron. still got the 97 T5 that needs to be sold, its been superseeded with my new toy 'R'. I've had it 5 months and love it. be good to hear from other T5 heads in the north west and i quite fancy the meet at warrington thats coming up. Tony

Thanks guy's for the welcome, i've got a lot to learn about these motors. I have spent a few bob already on brakes (EBC), tyres and now a hole in the exhaust! I was told it's had a ECU remap to 300 ponies but how would i know :confused: This R AWD drives completely different to my FWD T5, it doesn't have that kick in the pants exceleration, must have got lost in all that transmission :o Anyhow I've pencilled in 1st May @ the Fox for a shandy? How do Big n Daft, Im just down the way in Chadderton. There is another guy round here but ive not heard from him for a while called Deviant Design. I love the saffron colour R's. Dont know about you but i seem to be seeing more and more T5's round Manchester than ever before......we must be starting a trend. No doubt we'll meet up at a meet somewhere soon....hence the name "meet" :gossip:
