thought i'd share this with you .... enquired with my local dealer (Volvo that is) about the iPod adaptor for the S60.. he was looking 330quid for fitting it!!!! I think i'll get a $10 iTrip next time i'm in the US!
Itrip's on ebay. Got one for my girlfriend with her ipod. They work very well and give a clear signal. (Unike my cheap fm transmitter.) I would however purchase a car charger as well, cos they suck the batts dry.

It rocks, really very impressed with the sound quality... Make sure you get one with the Ciggie Adaptor socket, as i think some come without it...either that or invest in a good AAA charger with batteries, which is what i've had to do as my ciggie adaptor has stopped working! Azza
The volvo adaptor is about £120 I think just for the parts but fitting it is the expensive bit.
