Just come back from another trip to the ring.
Had a fab time and just chillin' out ( or should I say sweating ) on the Saturday when a V70 rolls up.....and then another and another.
In the end about 10 Volvos ( mainly V70's ) arrive from volvopower.de.
What a thoroughly nice bunch of chaps and some lovely cars. In particular a couple of black P1 V70's....oh they were sexy!!
Also met a guy from ScanTune to who I promised to put his site on this forum..www.scantune.de
So, I then had to confess I was selling my Volvo and had gone in an Audi....hmmm maybe I've done the wrong thing ???
I'll get some pic's of their cars if someone can post them ( don't know how to do it!!).
P.S. My Audi is definately slower than my Volvo on the straights...120 vs 130+...

I'll keep it relatively short....
Had a bad journey there ( upset stomach - nothing worse than 9 hours in a car with a dicky tummy!), but got there safe and sound.
The car park didn't fail to amaze - Ford GT40, Konigsegg CCR, 2 skylines ( yippee!!) , 2 new RS4's amongst the Beemers and Porsche's. Incredible!
Took the Audi round and it was good but the circuit was even more daunting than I remember! If you've played Gran turismo, you will not expect the graidents....shocking! I remembered why it needs respect...
Anyway, the Audi was slower on the striaghts, faster on the corners, resulting in a time of around 10 mins 20, driving well within the limits/safely. I'm chuffed with that!
Nothing else to report except I had a passenger ride in a Holden HSV-R.....410BHP and 2 tonnes! Pretty quick on the straights, amazing round the bends!
Nothing more satisfying that overtaking Porsche GT3 drivers with helmets on with 4 people in the car! Amazing, got round in approx 9 mins 30....Only overtaken by 1 bike and he was a local...
Saw a very close near miss with a BMW M3 spining and just avoiding other cars thundering around a bend..
Everyone in our party (18) came home safe ( one bike tumble ) so that is always good!
Just sold the Volvo ( 10 mins ago - its off the drive, money ion the bank, so hopefully getting a Skyline to go again in September!!)

A4 2.0Turbo s-line Avant. Its the special edition with 220 BHP...its not bad and looks good in Black. Only downside is its very repy, but they all go for the diesels..

We'll be there again on Sunday, 15th October.
On 14th is a VLN Race
(with the HEICO SPORTIV S40 ODIN
&
PSR Volvo S60).
So it'll be a nice weekend. :biggrin:
