Here in the states, we have stupid emission standards with "other" things programmed into our ECU's, and I don't really like those standards, they don't work for me or my car :saythat:
I need a 5-speed ECU as I am planning a 5-speed swap in my car soon (yes, they only came in Auto over here :(), and 96-97 years are prefered.
PM me, e-mail me, call me if you really want, but I would be interested if anybody comes across one cheap, has an extra sitting around, or manages to find one at a salvage yard.

Shouldnt be an issue between us mate, i have a spare here, any idea's what the part number on your auto is now ?

I will check and see, but the current ECU is a 95 one, and I specifically want a 96-97, so the P/N will be different :(
Actually, do your cars have EGR systems? If they don't (in any year), a 94-97 ECU would work actually... The reason I want a 96-97, in the US they got rid of the EGR on those years, so it disables it on a 95 year car and allows us to upgrade our exhaust manifold without drilling/taping it and keeping the EGR system, instead we can just remove it if our ECU think there isn't an EGR :P Sorry if that doesn't make sense, my mom says I'm verrrrrry special!

Can I get a bump? I and a fellow mate over here need 5-speed ECU's for our cars, if anybody has ANY laying around, please e-mail me and tell me what year/model it's from, even though any 94-97 850 T-5 ECU should work :)

Most breakers like Salvo are charging £100 at the moment, as you probably know the manual ecu won't work properly on a auto but a auto ecu will work on a manual.

Trust me, I'm aware that it won't work properly, that's why I will remove the problem in the equation ;) Stupid automatic transmission, get outa my house! I hate how our cars only came in automatic with the turbo model (until the S/V/C70), really sucks, but oh well... Makes the car even more "rare" after converting it to a 5-speed.
