Just a little rant....
my mom and dad own a corner off license and theres a lot of what i once regarded as hype about under age drinking until i saw it for my self tonight.
I helping my old man out tonight stocking up the beer in the cooler (as it had run out of big bottles of fosters which i'm partial too) when 2 kids walk in and my ol man yell's "Ur not bringing that in here" so i swings round and i see this kid carrying a yellow can.
Kid steps outside and comes back in a second later buys some sweets then is off again.
Once they've left a say to my dad "Was that what i thought it was, a can of boddie's?" Nope it was a can of Lynx lager - but that wasn't the problem......
What was the problem he was only about 11..... Christ on a bike, i didn't start till i was about 14/15 and then i only made sure no one found out!
What in the hell is this world comming too?
Oh and no, we don't sell Lynx lager!!
Bloody hell, takes a little to shock me but that takes the biscuit!

yeah that's the trouble today, there seems to be a lack of control. maybe we're all getting old but things like this are a bit much for me to swallow, even in this so called enlightened age.
I recently had a pub in a quiet village, no problem with u/age drinking, well not to that extent, cos we kicked em out. but you'd find them down the village at the offie, waiting for an older looking kid to arrive so that he/she could buy them beer and alcopops.
jeeze a pack of pissed 12 year olds roaming the streets, always trouble. but it was the adults who stepped in to stop it that were nicked.
strange old world innit?

Lol old.....No just concerned, saw a few 14yr olds pedldling their drugs the other day - made me wanna kick crap out of them but who'd be in the wrong then?
Last thing we all want is our own kids being part of all this and i don't even have kids, being only 25.
So whats the standards gonna be in another 10 years?

and don't get me started on it either, no morals and parents that don't give a crap is most of the problem,

Im only 18 and i find it disgusting. Im embarassed for the country when i see it and i always think do the parents know, or even care what their kids are up to.

We all moan about this but then do nothing about it.If i see someone doing something i think is wrong i tell them and if they dont like it then they know what they can do.Society is too soft with the element that likes to cause offence/trouble and the media encourages a lot of this behavior so if we all dont like it do something about it instead of sitting there moaning!

too bloody right, but the number of times i had the police round after sorting out trouble makers... i spose that's the trouble with being a pub landlord. now it's a bit different i just get told to eff off.
had a 240Z once and caught some oik stubbing out his fag on the scuttle, didn't hit him but took hold of his arm and led him round to his parents. they called the police and i went to the nick - wtf. ok they didn't do anything but why, "he's just a kid, comes from a broken home" yeah right!
no respect today for one's elders
yes media led i agree
