As being a DIY mechanic i am needing to change amy timing belt on my 2.0 S40,but only ever doing Vauxhalls was needing a few pointers on doing a Volvo,is it straight forward or anything to look out for etc.? Currently sitting at 122,000 mls Thanx in advance!!
if its anything like the t4 engine with vvt its a bit of a nightmare id leave it to the professionals imoa
its a shame you live so far away, i only charge £20 per hour and discount on the parts. there is nothing frightening about the timing belt. should take just over 2 hours.
what mileage does the timing belt get changed..??? Need mine done i think 68K on my T4
i believe 80k is the recomended service interval for a timing belt on the s1 T4, better sooner than later with these sort of items
