Are you choosing between an M5 or a V70?
Got an E39 M5. It trounces the T5, BUT £ for £ the Volvos are better value. Restricted budget for the Volvo. Thought of getting a D5 and chipping but too many people on the forum have D5'd for a spell only to go back to the T5. If could find the right T5 (black + cream) which has all options would buy it, but lack of real choice hence may as well go the R route.
You looking man or auto?
Got to be manual. Prefer Black with Atacama, but realistically not fussy about colour if buy an "R". May even buy "kermit green" ! Unfortunately, limited by budget as do not want to sell other car(s).

Saw a few at BRands Hatch a few weeks ago, impressive machienes. My dads got a 530i tourer in the light blue and im trying to persuade him to get a matching M5! I think i saw a really nice v70r in silver somewhere, i'll see if i can dig it up for you. Good luck with the search! Dave

Definately go for the T5, I do regret selling mine and getting the tractor, even if the tractor is fully loaded...
If you find a V70 R manual get it, theirs very few of them.
