thinking of getting a quad for the summer, save on the cost of running the volvo on short trips, plus it will look cool in the work car park

It'l get nicked!
We've got 2, Pete has a road legal Quadzilla Stinger, and then we have a lil 90cc one the kids use when we go to the off road tracks.(Oh and a 50cc one but thats broken at the mo) Insurance isn't too bad, but the tax takes the p*** to put it nicely as it is full car tax even tho they have low emissions. Fuel about the same as a bike. Insurance will state what theft devices must be on the quad or it won't be covered. Best checking that before taking out cover, ours is through bikesure. They are good fun too, especially on the off road tracks, couldn't see it for mud today.
Quads on the road is a complete waste of their ability..fasion accessory..try them off road...now thats what they were designed for....I had a go at this last year and nearly killed myself.....I would have died smiling too.....best fun I had for ages...insane.... :)
