Cheers, makes a hell of a difference to the look of the front of the car, do you think that could be done for more permant effect by removing the glass from the headlight and actually painting the reflector itself??

i dont think it would work as the pattern is produced by the glass & not the reflector,
the out side of the lense isnt used for the pattern,if you look close at the glass its actually got the sort of circle around it,the light is thrown through the centre part of the glass,i just painted it to see if it would work & it did, doesnt affect the beam either as i checked it with a beam tester...
the lense covers are from volvo,i just used that spray tint on the inside of the covers then it dont get a hammering from the weather, stones etc..
i only did it cos i was gona get those after market 4 headlights but they look a bit cheap & not very well put together so i didnt bother......
if it didnt work i could use a stanley blade to remove it lol.....
