Exactly, if anything goes wrong on the Volvo it's pretty cheap to fix compared with other cars. Looked at loads of m5s, 911s and only thing that looked decent was an AMG or a vxr8.

I've been looking at Maserati Quattroporte, or Merc CLS55AMG. Won't be until next year though.

nice I was looking at E55's today, but think I would prefer a V10 M5 - a better choice to crack that 200 mph barrier anyway. I like those Quattroportes but pricey!!

Volvo , through there My volvo web site are running a offer on boot mats at the moment, So here's mine .

It's 100% Waterproof rubber backed so won't move around and there's a raised lip all the way around the edge to keep any water in the mat.

My latest purchase for the R , when I changed the wheels over I noticed one of the rear toe bars was a bit bent on the end so good excuse to get these.

I see, thanks for that, it does. Thinking about a 3" downpipe with a 'swap-out' race cat from some chaps in the states wasn't sure about import duties etc.

I'm just making myself a 3" dp with removable cat so I can have another lag

I'll be making a jig up so may make another few and one for the sonic.

    Like this one ?

I know this helps with the shipping costs, smaller box.

I'd certainly be interested if you're selling them on

Yeh, but it was from these guys seems good quality https://www.facebook.com/8eightfab/

But with the tax and postage makes them sort of expensive, is there any decent UK based alternatives?

I've had the misfortune of having to remove a lot of P2 "custom" downpipes. These are some of the defects, 3 bolt flange to turbo warped due to not being clamped when welded, 3 bolt flange to turbo too thick to correctly fit nuts, pipe protruding past the flange to the turbo, DP fouls anglegear, DP fouls prop, DP fouls floor, rear flange incorrect angle to bolt to catback, pipe protruding past the end of the rear flange, front and rear Lambda bosses cut off at an angle with grinder so crush washer wouldn't seal, incomplete threads for Lambda bosses, brackets too small to hold mounting rubbers, rear Lambda boss pointing at the prop so the sensor wouldn't fit. I think that should give a quick check list. The other thing to consider is the quality of the cat. A cheap cat WILL fail and not flow as well as a good metallic cat.

8eight fab look to address all the points I listed, believe me most won't...

Thanks for the heads up , I will only fit the one that's matches the cat back I have fitted. TME If I do ever fit one..

Funny I did get a cheap cat a while ago Ebay bid, but still sat in the box I came in.

I really like the sound of my Ferrita downpipe and catback. Nice burble at low rpms and when the turbo kicks in, the sound gets a lot more agressive. The 11 blade billet wheel made the exhaust tone a bit deeper.
