    The new toy

Just got home after picking up my new toy from rikcougar. She does need some work doing but all in all very happy and Rik is a real gent.No pics as yet as she needs a good wash etc.The plan is to get her ready for the North weld meet and hopefully kick some back sides. So far needs a full radpack, some work on suspention, possibly new shocks and lowering springs, if anyone got some going for the right price plz pm me.Hopefully this going to make a bit of thread and with some of your help make a good progress.I have Graems exhaust sitting in at work waiting to be fitted and some goodies from MRP,with some inspiration from merc85 give it a good polish and engine bay clean. There is an invoice for a rica map 300bhp but will compare it against my ex V70 that dynoed 271bhp and once the stage 0 done have it on a dyno.

Get rid of the rica map. Youll feal the benifit of a better map. the mid range power with rica is terrible.

Very nice project mate and a lot of the work has been done.

The problem with plodders is theyre a bugger to get them looking shiy. Its not that it cant be done but it does take a fair bit more than most colours.

With mine i just feel you need to be above 3k rpm to get it moving. To me it makes it feel laggy and un responsive. The k24 turbo is known for being very responive low down and i feel rica isnt getting anywear near the best from the car. My bum dyno isnt impresses with stg 1 or 2.

It feels the same as a stock map low down tbh so would be good to see the power curve from dreamers map.I`ll try to dyno mine as a comparison.
