Afraid not, a pair of the Canistos will be fitted with slicks for the drag strip.

Any ideas what that spoiler's off, as I don't think they did one for the C70, and that's just the style I'm looking for. Car looks great BTW.

So you like Ford coupes, but not Volvo coupes. Me thinks you're a secret Ford man as well.

BTW that looks like a Capri 280, if it is why would someone fit aftermarket alloys and spoiler?

Erm... No idea what the spoiler's off, it was on the car when we got it.
I presume it's some sort of aftermarket jobbie though, 'cos it follows the lines of the boot too well to be off something else!

As for the Capper, that's mine.
It's a 2.8i Special, resprayed Brooklands green by the previous owner - badly!!
The spoiler is a Turbo-tail copy (original ones go for mega money) and the TSW wheels are just some I had knocking about from my XR3 days and thought they looked quite cool on the Capri.
The original Special wheels were fubarred and have you ever seen the price of Brooklands wheels??!!

I have to say I really like the C70 Coupé.

The convertibles look a bit awkward with their roof up (looks like some dodgy old man's hat!) but otherwise ok.

I guess the main reason for anyone not to like the C70 is by being blinded by the practicality a V70 offers???

Wouldn't mind one once the 480 goes but it's unlikely really!

Lol, very funny Frankie. Same interior as mine in the light grey, except for the inserts, which are metallic looking on mine.

They are a great car for the money, and the boot is decent sized. If the rear seats folded down, they would be a whole lot more practical, but you can't have it all.

I have canistos but they need refurbing. The rears are badly corroded, fronts not too bad at all. They are perfectly straight no wobbles at high speed. Not had the car long and its one of several jobs i need to do.

Some cracking cars on this thread, and if we could get them all together..........

Unfortunately, one of my rear BC coilovers was jiggered, and mine is sitting 3-4" higher at the back, as she's now on Nivos. Had to have the front raised as well as she was dragster like. The shock actually dropped through the floor of the car when she was raised off the ground, and the top was knacked.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get a shot of Project Cabbie with the roof up as well as down.
