I've decided not to attend this, sorry

It's a bit of a trek for me for the day, and I'm going to save the cash for a few more mods to the car before the Castle Combe track day.

I really enjoyed the day at York last year, and if funds weren't so tight here I'd definitely be going.

    Have fun!

Not sure what to do. I'll def be going, just can't decide if i should go up the strip or not. I'v not got a helmet, and don't know if it would be worth it as my car is an auto.

Pretty sure you can borrow/hire helmets at the strip.

My car is an auto (V70) and IIRC I posted the 2nd fastest time (out of the volvos) on the day last year - so don't let the slushbox put you off, you can still have fun

Auto should be the best for the 1/4 mile as they change gear alot quicker and at better times also you can lend helmets trust me once youget started you wont want to stop its brilliant fun and also to see what best times you can get.

Cheers people. I understand about the auto boxs perfect gear changes, just that off the line it seems to take ages for it to get goin, my t4 was completley different, that just flew of the line (even though that was an auto too).
