    Volvo V70 tinkering and bodging

Decided to join here and post my Olvov. It's a phase 1 V70, and is the daily whip. Not wanting to spend too much on it so I'm just doing a few things here and there.

Just had to get out in the sun while it's still with us, been lovely the past few days.

Decided it'd be best to start working on some issues (came via the previous owner) and see what can be done about them. Think I've said before about the rear wheel arches being scratched to hell and back.

Here's the right hand side, which isn't too bad...

The left hand side is far worse, and I think it's going to be a bit more than simply applying filler, sanding it down and respraying it Not really wanting to spend too much on this car (I'd rather get a project car when I have the money to do a decent job of it) but this really irks me, so I'll work something out. By project car, I mean perhaps a 850 or another V70, ideally in the T5 or R spec.

Did a little bit of work on the left hand side today, hopefully with a few layers of primer, sanding and spraying it won't look horrendous.

That's all for now, but expect more soon

    Johnny
