Hilton recommends the grey especially when the car is tuned. Contrast strongly recommends to use the OEM even if the car is tuned.
Both are respected, top rated and very knowledgeable tuners.
I'm sure each has their own reasons why and what they're recommending.

    @Ricardo,
Yes, the OEM seems to have quicker response on partial throttle, while 'Gandalf' feels stronger and balanced across the rev range.

    htomi,
Hilton mentions both TCV on his website.
    https://hiltontuning.com/product/200...0rv70r-me7-p2/

Anyway, none of them adds hp

Mine is strong with 22psi boost. Currently with 370hp/crank and 500Nm (not finished yet).

Yeah, I know it will not add any HP

Please correct me if I'm wrong, the 2 mentioned TCVs have different internal parts and as such different impact on how and when the boost level achieved.

Seems Hilton changed his website and the tuning options available compared to the one I remember from last year.

    Congrats for your achievement!

Well just to update things exhaust is now fitted Down pipe and the new mid section is fitted.
Yes the 3 bolts at the turbo did undo without breaking off happy days. Well Tim was happy they did , the mid section now sits a lot higher up on the car you cant see the exhaust anymore side on so that was great.

The sound is so good now , stills sounds stock-ish upto 2250 rpms but when it goes above its very diffrent sound , Yes it now pulls harder, almost like its mapped but it isn't yet going to get that sorted out soon tho.

Absolutely stunning. Not even the least bit jealous, honest!!

Harvey, I only just noticed this (I always read the updates on this thread by the way), but with your reg being personalised and the fact you have the GB symbol on the plate, it makes the lettering sit slightly off center. Now that I've noticed it, I can't un-see it. Is it something you've ever noticed and thought about? If you lost the GB symbol it would bring the lettering back to central and it would line up nicely with the grill etc.

A very good point and one that I noticed several months ago, which is why I ditched the Euro plate....

....Now I just need to replace these plates with ones without the border

Changing the brake hose didn't go to plan , steel & aluminium and the years, new line didn't want to seal as it should and being the brakes not going to take the chance.

Enough to think for about 5 sec when they said list £400 & exchange only each. But I think it was around the £330 but I got some other bits at the same time.
Availability a bit thin on the ground was told 4-5 weeks wait but got after one week.

Not too bad then. Fairly reasonable for a new Brenna caliper all things considered. But could get a bit painful if you had to get a full set....and pretty quick really.

Not sure you can really scrimp on the brakes with a 2T 300bhp fun bus....
