    Carbon Charger Intake System

    Hi there,

Anyone know what these are like and whether or not they are worth the cash?

A touch pricey, and a futter to fit!

You want a panel filter as a starter. Then consider a cone, later you can look at this kind of tosh.

If you want performance, buy a standard K&N, then use the rest of the cash towards an exhaust system. This will do far more than a coke can full of foam and a length of hose.

    Spend wisley!

I just junked a custom induction kit, for the standard box with a K&N panel filter, and she's alot more responsive and rev-happy. Loads smoother on tick over and revving.

Cheers guys. I think I'll go for a panel k and n then. Any ideas on an exhaust? I'm keen not to have it sounding like a boy racer, but a bit of growl when my foot goes down would be nice!

I have the Ferrita system on my car. Pretty much fits what you've just said.

Cheers Badger. How much did it cost and do you have a link or something where I could find one?

its a Marmite thing mate, i prefer open filters myself but some people wouldn't even think of trying one because it getting hot air. I've posted several times that BT has ran her fastest time at Santa Pod with an open filter & that heat soak has never been an issue
