Love the video Colin - It's a great feat of engineering... Although there is something slightly change about the gearstick wiggling part

Well, I've been trying to get my clutch working on both engines for two weeks now, with no success, the front is fine, and the rear was fine until I put the pipe back on to the front one, I have a Volvo Master cylinder mounted under the dash, all bled through numerous times, but just won't work, so I'm now suspecting a faulty master cylinder.

So, due to mojo loss on the clutch front, I've decided to start making a front splitter.

I had major issues bleeding my clutch last time if you remember Colin, you on internal or external slaves ??

I had a thought pop into my head in the early hours of this morning, my Master cylinder isn't quite at the same orientation as original, i.e, the reservoir filler is at about 1 o'clock instead of at the top, do people think that this would introduce an air pocket into the master cylinder?

dont know about that but i remember when i did my gearbox change the clutch was a barsteward to bleed, it took about 45 mins. hope its a simple fix.

I'm sure you've thought of this, but sometimes obvious comments from non-tech people might help...
Is the clutch pedal travel moving enough volume for pushing both master-slave cylinders?

How are you bleeding the system? Good old footwork?
1996 Olive Green 850 AWD - Follow the Project - Forged rods, 19T, big blue injectors, 960 TB, 3.25" MAF, Ostrich, 608 binary, arduino data display, active exhaust control with Focus RS tips, 320mm front brake conversion.
1996 Nautic Blue 850 AWD - Failed its MOT, now it's a donor for the green thing.
2004 Sapphire Black S60 D5 - The new daily hack.
When mine went in for the new slave cylinder and hydraulic pipe I think they used pressurised bleeding as it was such a pain.
I'm using a vacuum bleeder and just letting the fluid flow through, but after a bit of investigation this morning, I think I've nearly got it, basically a case of tapping the clutch pedal for about 5 minutes causes the air bubbles to rise back into the reservoir, that has improved things greatly, but still not enough to disengage the clutch, I've now left it with a broom handle holding the pedal down (which seems to be the other suggestion) so we'll see what that does

If you are using the same master cylinder to operate two slave cylinders you would logically only get half the extension on the slave cylinders compared with having only one slave.
Is there any way of fitting a tandem master cylinder .
It was working fine when I was using the standard master cylinder piped to the rear engine instead of the front, it's been working like that for 18 months.

Pressure bleed from the slave back to master.
Or stand car upright on rear end ! Only joking .

Might be stupid but got to ask are you keeping the fluid right at the top all of the time? as soon as it drops only a few mills it won't bleed God knows why but had 4 of us stumped for a good while doing Neal's clutch and it was the same when I changed my slave.
