Running costs? T5s drink petrol & chew tyres - are you sure this a wise idea? Not to mention insurance?

If your budget is less than 1500 quid then not to put a downer on your enthusiasm - are you sure this is wise? 23 with a family is gonna be expensive. 16 year old 850s return on average 25 to the gallon with a 65 litre tank - 90 quid to fill up.

The nicer ones I've seen have been at least £2500 which is not too over budget but more than what I ideally wanted to spend which was why I was looking at the non R models. The V70 around te £1k is so far looking the best option.
For me running costs aren't so much of an issue with my V6 only doing 24 mpg at best with our usual driving, insurance shouldn't be too terrible for me either at 28 I have gotten quotes and not any worse than my ZS is.
Im used to getting by on a budget.
I will see what happens myself, if the right one comes up then it will hopefully be mine.

If you did somehow want an 'R' this 850 is worth a look, I can personally (as can many other members) vouch for it's condition.....

I would love my C70 to have as much power as Annes V70, but at least I make good use of the power I have.

I have looked at the pictures of this one and it does look superb but unfortunately its an auto and don't want one am auto. Also I'm not really heading for an R in particular, just depends on what comes up at the right time.
Thanks for pointing it out though

Got them a bit mixed up actually, the one I liked the look of the silver with 67 on the clock is at a dealers and is at £1995 & the other one was a white one that I now can't find so assume its finished / been sold.

Not in a FWD it won't! Anything over 300 and it just turns to smoke. More embarrassing than fun!!
