I didn't with mine, is the ME7 slightly different?
AFAIK only the VVT and the inlet shape.
I've seen that snabb.us offer delete plates for that.

I'll try not too, I might be there, but I have to get some bits done on the camper, and weekends are the only time I can get them done.
A 3" catback has 20% more cross section area than a 2.75". That's a significant difference. It might not make much difference on my car but you're going to be making a 1/3 more power so the air has to go somewhere. Not sure what I'd do but worth investigating exhaust flow restriction at ~450bhp. For its own sake moving from a stock downpipe (2.25") to 3" increases cross section by 80%. Flow volume is proportional to cross section.

Engine is bedding in well. Spent most of the afternoon washing all the salt & stuff off both cars. Gave me an excuse to wash the grime of the top of the new engine, put down some C&G new look trim gel.
