Do your old Volvo Horns look tired behind your Mesh Grill..... Saab Replacements???

Hi all, ive been breaking my Saab 9-5 and wondered if the horns would fit my volvo...... And they did. The saab ones i have are 1999 , my 1998 volvo ones look tired and grey. The saab ones are smaller , jet black and sit further back thus less visible behind your mesh or egg crate grill. Probably nothing you guys care about, but i made use of this and quite happy. Thought i'd share

I wondered what these round discs were under the grill. I thought they were mounts for the Police lights.....

They look much tidier than the big grey snails Volvo fitted. Are the connections the same on the Saab horns?

Yes the are.... you do need to just take a stanley knife to 2 little knobbley bits on the connection.... but they are very apparent when you try to put it into the connector. Once they are gone it goes straight in and clips in.

The strobes sit in the bottom half of the grille on brackets fitted by the Volvo special vehicles garage in gothenburg.

One of my horns is hiding behind the foglight..?

Is the bracket still there under your grill?

By the way, the great thing about having a 'grill' on our cars of course, is we can cook a fry up at the road side....

You should see judgeninja's 850, the front end modifications actually look like he's had a head-on with a large bbq!

Just relocate your horns to behind your bumper then you won't see them

Its a shame that under the engine is all in bits. Ive got the blanking plate on now and removed heatshield. Acuator arm is not seized, i can move it about 8-10mm along the length of the arm. I wd40'd it any. Changed all the other Brittle pipes. Now to put back together when its not pouring down
