I've updated the URLs so you should be able to view them without the need for a password.

Hi Andrew lovely wheels mate, fits the arches so much nicer, so what do you think of the difference in the ride? I found it to be a lot nicer imho, so are you going to keep the 40's or get some 35's

I think they look great in silver tbh - I find the darker you go with the wheels the smaller they look. Those pegs in silver really fill up the arches - looks great!

I've yet to take her out - been trying to sought my daughters room out. I will keep these for at least 6 months as they are in excellent condition - practically new...

I'm worried the 35s may provide too harsh a ride.

You could try mine out on the 13th to see what you think, a bit harsh at low speed but on better tarmac sweet as a nut.

yeah 35s are harsh. i have them on my astra on 18s. even going from a 215/40 tyre they are noticabley different. that said, i like the rubber band look and the speedo, geometry etc stay correct on 35s

Checked my speedo tonight using a GPS
With the 18s on 45s the speedo was smack bang perfect - almost as though it had been calibrated. I know most speedos have to be slifhtly under the true speed - seems this brings it back into being perfect. I expect the rubbing is going to pi** me off enough to go down to 35s though.
