    is 1.4 bar safe,

Hi, Volvo t4, I'm running a 14t/16g hybrid turbo with a straight through de cat exhaust. And a forge unos mbc. Also running 470 injectors, would 1.4 bar be ok to run, obviously not going to be flooring it in 5th from 2000 rpm. Cheers

i'd say 1.3 would be safer, if the afrs are good

I ran 285bhp using VXR's on a stock map mate using a bigger turbo. Boost was 1.35bar although it spiked and dropped due to a shat actuator. Not Ideal but the AFR's were not bad, but I did play with fuel pressure a bit. VXRs will fuel for 360bhp it's just the map that holds the car back as the ECU still thinks you have stock injectors. It's less than ideal but works temporarily. The AFR's stayed around 12.5 or lower if a little up and down on the graph. Car wouldn't hold boost hence the drop in the boost line. Lower line is AFR's. See graph:
