In fairness the wheel hp figures are the most relevant as they're the ones which are going to propel the car along. The flywheel power is a pub talk figure which doesn't give any real gauge on performance only really a figure used to sell a car.

Obviously, the way the manufacturers do it, is the best as thats the actual engine power, no calculation needed to work out anything. But its a bit tricky for us to do it like that. lol
What i mean, is that its the power at the wheels that moves the car down the road, be that torque hp or whatever.

Fair doo's mate, sorry had a few and argued with my mate recently who just turbo charged his 98 jdm interga. to be fair it goes like §§§§ off a shovel. I kept telling him it was the torque and all he cared about was power. You should have seen the look on his face when he mention the max power to the tuner and the tuners words were " you are not interested in max power, you are interested in a nice even band of torque" it was priceless lol.
