Did they come on the 850s at all or was it only the v70s?

I thought all T5s came with DMFs (dual mass flywheel) - no such thing as a dual mass clutch - AFAIK

Thanked 299 Times in 274 PostsIf your going to run a sprung friction plate like you bought youll need to fit a SMF if you havent already got one on. If you are going to do this and you are currently running a DMF youll need to modify the 850r clutch to fit.

Thanked 299 Times in 274 PostsI would say its prob a SMF. I know i had a 1997 V70 T5 and that was just on a SMF. Prob cant be sure untill you get the clutch off. I could be wrong mind. Dont think there's any other way of telling what flywheel it it. They say you get a easier clutch pedal with a DMF.

1996 Olive Green 850 AWD - Follow the Project - Forged rods, 19T, big blue injectors, 960 TB, 3.25" MAF, Ostrich, 608 binary, arduino data display, active exhaust control with Focus RS tips, 320mm front brake conversion.
1996 Nautic Blue 850 AWD - Failed its MOT, now it's a donor for the green thing.
2004 Sapphire Black S60 D5 - The new daily hack.

Thanked 2,582 Times in 2,051 PostsIts getting old as i think its the original, springs are weak (last time I did my clutch) and there is some rattling when in high gear at low rpms which I'm guessing is the DMF, but its still drives ok considering how much I abuse it.
