Im completely alienated by the whole thing... what if your car never had self leveling headlights of a wash system?

I take it if it was never fitted it wont fail, however how can it be proved that is ever was fitted? The Volvo self levelers in the 850's can simply pop out and be replaced with non leveling units and the same obviously with the wash system therefore what proof is there it was ever fitted? I think there will be many grey areas.

As Judge said personally I believe its not viable to commit all changes to all cars and only cars manufactured after a certain date.

Unfortunately after reading a bit more (yes I am at work) the AA site and the documents above state that the updates should include retro fitted HIDs, thererfore after April 2012 all car will need to comply.

I'm more worried about the airbags, I will need to site the Curtain and Drivers airbag back in the 850 if I want a dual purpose road and track racer.... Off topic slightly, but are the WRC rally cars going to deal with this???

F*rd managed to get the Thunderbird car SVA'd & taxed despite having no wing mirrors & a tinted windscreen & that was just a publicity car, i'm sure getting there rally cars the correct paperwork won't be a problem lol
