I though all T4/T5's needed 97 from standard? I have a logo inside my fuel cap on the T4.

I only really notice in mine when I am abusing the car. In the V40 I just get a slight hesitancy in the fire. This feels like a misfire.

My V70 has always had high octane fuel so I can't comment whether I can tell anything.
    The 850 couldn't tell the difference ..

In theory you can run 95 ron on standard cars and 280 mapped cars but it is advised to run super for better results. The 304 is mapped with the use of super taken into consideration although I have heard of people using 95 with the 304 but I think it's only when stuck for 97 and certainly against all advice.
