    Red face Nivomat

    Hi All

    I read some were sometime ago you can confuse Nivomats to be set lower when trying to lower the cars ride hieght.

    I understand you have to change the normal front shocks, but want the rears to match without removing the perfectly working rear Niv`s !

    Somthing to do with the level sensor/air pump bieng tricked about with !!

    if you change to non-nivomats you need to change the top rear shock mounts

    Just to be clear.

    There is NO air pump

    There is NO level sensor

    You MAY be able to use a shorter spring on the rear and the suspension unit MAY not be able to work itself up to its full ride height.

    Or it might. In which case you'll have the 'arse in the air' syndrome, which isn't pretty . . .
