    sometimes jerky on full throttle

Got my t5 back today, first Rica mapped run with all boost pipes intact!

Thing is it tends to shudder/jerk/hold back slightly when on full throttle sometimes.... Any idea what this may be?

Cool, a quick check of one looked ok, but prob worth doing them if that's common.

Mine did the same at about 3500rpm, changed leads and plugs and problem fixed.

same thing with mine, - try different petrol - TEsco 99 throbonator seems better in my car than Shell Veep.
Yet Shell Foolsave is better than any other vomit fuel when needs must.

Even with the best option I still get occasional shudder under full boost like a sort of cough or hiccup.

Had similar troubles to yours which bacame almost chronic - had two garages look at it - in the end someone on here suggested plug leads so i replaced those and "poof" problem solved - back to the normal mild hiccups anyway.

So - if you have changed the plugs and tested different petrols, try the leads and dizzy cap then get your injectors cleaned by Jimathon, you should notice a good improvement at least.

    Cheers

Oh and let us all know what the solution is;>)

    Leads

I'd try some new leads as mine was suffering the same symptoms, new leads cured this although mine is not remaped.

I use NGK Platinums, I have found they last the longest and I have never had any issues. The bosch super plus plugs seem good too.

As pedro says however you can pick up a set of genuine for £25.
Arguing is pointless....she may not be right but she's never wrong

Tell her a remap is just having your satnav updated.....
