nothing is going to fit really tbh, going to have to place turbo where washer/coolant bottles are in the front left corner of the bay due to brake servo and steering linkage in the way. Got the block painted earlier another coat tomorrow then its time to start the fun and games

There was a bloke who have a 245 who managed to fit the turbo in with the 760 turbo manifold on and customised the down pipe a little but there wasnt much room.
The best thing to do on the 240's is to have a custom manifold made which eliminates the clearence problems im also going to search for a slimmer brake booster which will allow more room
i forgot you have a 240 so i totally agree with pete get custom manifold made .the new season is going to be good with all these rwds modded and tuned ready for the stripe
manifold being made by my own fair hand and a tig welder, this summer is going to be mad, the rwd volvos are really getting popular with some seriously quick machines cropping up all the time, will any of you folk be going to the retro rides show/hill climb at the prescoot hill climb glostershire? ( spelt wrong i think ) there will be a fair few volvos / other strange machinery and a lot of banter
