hi mate
The turbo off a 2.5 will not be the right one, you will be down on power. Volvo never made a 2.5 t5 until later than that.
The one you are after is a 16t I think its called, if you can find an 18t or 19t they are not too much bother to fit I dont think.
There are loads of 16t's on ebay
