    850 brakes

    does anybody know if all 850 t5 have the same standard rear brakes? or more to the point...would the rear calipers off a 94 t5 fit on a c70? cheers

    Can't answer your q mate but if you want a laugh.......Rear pads on a '96 850 2.5 are same as front ones on a VX Chevette.

    My neighbour has an 02 plate C70 and his brakes are the same as my 96 855 T5

    Hope this helps


    1998 C70 T5 GT Auto, 68k, FVSH, Immaculate inside and out, only mod - poly top mount, its Yellow and no pete i didnt paint it, lol

    Think the braking systems are pretty much standard across the board in the same way BMW used the same auto-box for all the straight 6 engines regardless of model 3,5,6,7 series in the 80's. Makes sense.

    couldnt think of any other way to find out so checked the bay for rear brake pads and they all seem to be the same(not definate by any strech of the imagination mind).for what the fella wants for the calipers its worth a shot in any case. come in handy if even if i never use em!
